Pamela Lyons

Pam joined the Nativity board as the representative from the Diocese of San José. Pamela Lyons most recently served as the Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. In that role, she led efforts to strengthen Catholic identity, support school sustainability, promote academic excellence, and form leaders rooted in faith. Her earlier experience includes service as a teacher, principal, and Associate Superintendent. She holds a Master of Catholic School Leadership from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s College.

She believes that Catholic schools are a vital ministry of the Church, and she looks forward to helping nurture vibrant school communities like Nativity where students grow in faith, knowledge, and service.
