Tom Biagini is the founder and President of Biagini Properties, Inc. Tom founded the company in 1976 with the goal of providing specialized leasing and management services for the retail commercial property market. After four decades, retail commercial properties remain the company’s primary focus.He oversees the operations of the property management and brokerage divisions, as well as the acquisition and development of new retail commercial properties.

Tom is a native of Santa Clara and a product of local schools. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in accounting and finance. He holds a current California real estate broker’s license and is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and California Business Properties.

In addition to his many years in the Finance and Facilities Committee at Sacred Heart Nativity, he also volunteers in the advisory boards of the University of Nebraska Newman Center and the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. He is a past board member and president of Greater Opportunities for the Developmentally Disabled and the Santa Clara City Library Foundation & Friends, as well as a past commissioner of Santa Clara Police Activities League soccer program for youth.

Sylvia Bonilla Zizumbo is a Silicon Valley-based Career & Leadership Coach and Consultant with over 25 years of professional experience, spending the last 17 years of her corporate career at Google. She works with individuals and organizations on employee engagement, career strategy, professional development, authentic leadership, and creating a strengths-based culture. She is a certified Co-Active Coach (CPCC), ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach.

In addition to helping professionals to take ownership of their careers, Sylvia is passionate about advancing the lives of Latinos and women. She is a Career Coach for the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley's Latina Economic Advancement Program (LEAP). She also volunteers as an Executive Coach for Women's Impact Alliance, a non-profit focused on advancing women's leadership.

A 1995 graduate of SJSU, Sylvia received a B.S. in Advertising from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The SJSU Latino Alumni Network (LAN).

Javier Diaz :

Javier Diaz comes from humble beginnings having been raised in the small farming community of Gridley, California.  The oldest of 5, he learned the importance of a strong work ethic at an early age. Growing up in his close-knit community, he also developed a deep sense of responsibility and a passion for giving back to others, especially the Latino community.

In 2010, Javier co-founded OSI Engineering with the vision of providing leading global technology firms with the innovation power needed to deliver products and solutions that drive today's digital age and new experience economy. Under his leadership, OSI has built a 14-year reputation for offering top-tier Technology Workforce Solutions to some of the world's most renowned companies, including startups and Forbes 100 companies. With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), he has integrated these elements into OSI’s services and values which has led to a culture of innovation and excellence within OSI and among clients.

Even with great success, Javier has never forgotten his roots and has leveraged his journey to pay forward. Since founding OSI, he has been deeply involved in various programs and initiatives that support advanced education and entrepreneurial development. Javier was nominated for Ernst and Young’s 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year for his leadership, innovative vision, and commitment to diversity and workforce transformation.

Sintia Marquez Jimenez :

Sintia is an alumna of Our Lady of Grace School and Presentation High School. is the Fund Development Coordinator of the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley. As FDC, she provides general administrative support to HFSV’s Strategic Fund Development needs, aligning these with their mission.

She is a Latina with solid roots in San Jose, California. She is the first in her family to have completed college with a degree in Economics and Public Policy with a minor in Math from the University of Redlands. Sintia is interested in how data influences policy and other decision-making efforts and the power of using data to tell a story to drive change.

Before joining HFSV, Sintia worked with the Country of Santa Clara as an intern for the Public Defenders Office, Healing Grove as the Pandemic Aid Manager, Sacred Heart Community Service as a COVID-19 Communications Specialist, and most recently as an intern for SV@Home. All of these experiences have helped to expand her knowledge and skill set. Additionally, these experiences have allowed her to give back to the Latino community and do her part in assisting and advocating for underrepresented and marginalized communities.

Angela Flores Robertson :

Angela Flores Robertson brings over two decades of experience in service delivery and operational leadership within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Service Delivery Leader at Palo Alto Networks, she has also held roles at industry leaders like Netflix, Cisco Systems, Xilinx, and Polycom. A lifelong resident of San Jose and first-generation professional, Angela’s work is deeply rooted in community connection and a passion for creating more equitable spaces in tech.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Angela is the President of Juntos, the Latinx Employee Resource Group at Palo Alto Networks, where she champions mentorship, access, and leadership development for Latino professionals. She also serves as the Founder and Foundation Director of the Joel and Angela Robertson Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to investing in education, nonprofit sustainability, and leadership opportunities for youth. The foundation’s impact includes awarding scholarships to students—particularly in tech and education—and empowering local changemakers.

Angela is a dedicated advocate for inclusion and educational equity, frequently sharing her voice at events such as the Silicon Valley Leadership Summit and with organizations like the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley. As she joins the Sacred Heart Board, she brings not only her professional expertise but also a profound commitment to ensuring all members of the community are seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Roger Garcia : Chair, Board of Directors

Roger Garcia was born and raised in East Chicago, Indiana, an industrial suburb located six miles from the Chicago city limits. He attended public school until seventh grade after which he attended Catholic School, graduating from Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, IN. Upon graduation, Roger attended the University of Michigan College of Engineering, earning a degree in Materials Science. After receiving a Graduate Fellowship, he headed West to Arizona State University where he received a Ph.D., specializing in semiconducting materials.

Roger is an experienced Senior Engineering Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. As the son of a Mexican immigrant, Roger is passionate about the advancement of immigrant children in all areas of STEM. He has been active and has held several leadership positions in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Scott Maguire : Chair, Governance Committee

Scott has held multiple positions at RGP Consulting since 2015 and is currently the Regional Leader for RGP West. He leads a team of 5 Market Leaders and has accountability for 600 employees within the region.

Scott earned a B.S. from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He previously served on the Nativity Board of Directors, but then moved out of the area. We are so happy that he is back and willing to join us again. He is looking forward to using his leadership and functional skills, coupled with his non-profit background to help drive innovation on the board.

Anne Milligan :

Anne Milligan



Anne Milligan is a 1988 graduate of Santa Clara University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She is an alum of Price Waterhouse, where she worked in both San Jose and Stamford, CT. Subsequently, she worked as a strategic planning consultant to mid- size companies in Austin, TX, focusing primarily on financial, valuation and credit advisory services.

Anne currently serves on the Santa Clara University Board of Regents and Board of Fellows. She is also a member of the Catholic Community Foundation where she is Chair of the Finance Committee as well as Treasurer. Anne is also Chair of the Finance Committee at her parish, St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Los Gatos. Anne and her husband Steve live in Los Gatos where they are active members at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception. They have two children. Their daughter Megan, is currently serving a year volunteering for the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Nashville, TN. Their son, Daniel, is a freshman at Colgate University.

Right after high school, Olga entered into the Management of Commercial Real Estate and has been doing that job for 28 years currently working for Swift Real Estate Properties as their Director of Operations for the NorCal and PacNW assets.

She and her siblings and are first generation born in the United States from Mexican parents who migrated in the late 60's from a small town from the state of Jalisco named Jalostotitlan. She grew up just a few blocks away from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and she and her husband have remained in the neighborshood. She remembers falling in love with theatre thanks to Father Mateo Sheedy. Her first job at 14 was in the parish office for 4 hours on Saturday mornings. She is thankful to Father Mateo and the many different things he did to help the children of this community.

Her family has been blessed with opportunities that have afforded them a comfortable lifestyle but they always remind their daughters that not everyone is so fortunate. They volunteer as a family helping the community at Sacred Heart Community Centre, Willow Glen Cares and Rebuilding Together. It has always provided her joy to help the community especially the younger generation.

Juan Romo :

Juan is a proud member of Nativity School’s first graduating class, the Class of 2004, and a strong example of the school's lasting impact. He went on to attend Bellarmine College Preparatory and earned a degree in Finance from Santa Clara University. With over 15 years of experience in sales across startups and enterprise companies, he now works as a residential realtor in the Bay Area.

As one of Sacred Heart Nativity School’s success stories, Juan credits much of his personal and professional foundation to the values instilled during his time there.

Emily Ruvalcaba :

With over 25 years of banking experience, Emily serves as a Senior Vice President of Bridge Bank a division of Western Alliance Bank. She is responsible for the development and delivery of banking solutions for a broad range of commercial clients who represent nearly all business sectors.

Emily holds a B.A. in Management from St. Mary's College and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. She has served on the Nativity Development Committee since 2018 and will take over as the Chair for the 2020-21 fiscal year. Emily is passionate about giving back and is often a volunteer at fundraisers for numerous non-profit organizations including Second Harvest Food Bank, the American Red Cross, and the Silicon Valley Organization.

Sandra Sepúlveda :

Sandra is a partner in Berliner Cohen’s Estate Planning Group. She advises clients on estate planning issues and develops comprehensive plans to address their business and personal needs. As a fluent Spanish speaking attorney in the San Jose area, she enjoys serving her Spanish speaking clients in estate planning matters.

Sandra earned a B.A. from San Francisco State and a law degree from Golden Gate University. She has worked with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara Country since 2009 and was second vice president of the Board for the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley from 2008-2017. She has been a member of the Nativity Development Committee since 2019.

Maria A. Reyes :

With more than 28 years of higher education experience, Maria Reyes devoted her time to strengthening the efforts of recruiting and retaining underrepresented populations in STEM. Her passion for STEM programs began at Arizona State University’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering where she garnered many grants supporting efforts to serve minority students in engineering. The last 20 years, she worked for the Maricopa County Community College District, serving as academic dean at two colleges and Vice-President of Industry Partnerships in a system-wide transformation effort.

Maria is an engineer, earning a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from ASU and served as a consulting engineer early in her career. Her dedication to public policy and desire to have large scale impact earned her a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

In 2021, Maria Reyes returned to her technical roots and joined Google and currently serves as the Global Workforce Innovation & Development Manager for Google Cloud. She is passionate about the work to identify and develop local workforce talent for the data center industry. She is a member of several Google Employee Resource Groups.

In 2022, she was honored to be appointed by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. to serve as a Commissioner for the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics.

She serves on several non-profit boards based in Silicon Valley and participates in community outreach.

Cecile Mantecón : President

Mrs. Cecile Mantecón comes to Sacred Heart Nativity Schools after 26 years in a variety of roles with the Diocese of San José. She served as a teacher and administrator at various schools in the Diocese of San Jose as well having served with the Diocese as  Education Services Administrator and Accreditation Commissioner and Director of Mission Advancement.  Cecile passionately believes in the transformative power of Catholic education in the Jesuit tradition, particularly for the families who call the surrounding neighborhoods of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish their home. In her role as President and Director of the Work, she hopes to invite fellow workers in the vineyard to invest in the Nativity’s profound mission, while infusing Ignatian spirituality in every facet of her leadership.

Mrs. Mantecón graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Masters in Educational Administration from Santa Clara University. She and her husband Mike are grateful to have been blessed with two amazing humans, both formed in Catholic schools in the Diocese of San José. She credits the women religious for her passion for and dedication to Catholic education. They modeled for her the courage to lead with humility, integrity, gratitude, grace, and compassion.

Pamela Lyons : Superintendent of Schools, Diocese of San José

Pam joined the Nativity board as the representative from the Diocese of San José. Pamela Lyons most recently served as the Superintendent of Schools for the Archdiocese of San Francisco. In that role, she led efforts to strengthen Catholic identity, support school sustainability, promote academic excellence, and form leaders rooted in faith. Her earlier experience includes service as a teacher, principal, and Associate Superintendent. She holds a Master of Catholic School Leadership from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s College.

She believes that Catholic schools are a vital ministry of the Church, and she looks forward to helping nurture vibrant school communities like Nativity where students grow in faith, knowledge, and service.

Rob Scholla, S.J. : Superior, Bellarmine Jesuit Community

Fr. Scholla was named Superior of the Bellarmine Jesuit community effective July 31, 2024. As part of his mission as Superior, he represents the Jesuits West Provincial on the Nativity Board. Before entering the Society of Jesus, he did undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of Southern California and graduate work in Education at the University of California in Berkeley. As a Jesuit, he obtained his M.A. in Mediaeval Philosophy from Fordham University and later spent seven years working and studying in Rome where he completed his Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, specializing in the area of Fundamental Theology. Fr. Scholla also serves on the faculty at Santa Clara University.
