Make a gift that will benefit Nativity by providing steady, reliable funding for our programs through a monthly or quarterly gift. It is easy to do through our online donation form. Indicate donation frequency and the amount of your donation, and we will charge your credit card at the predetermined interval. We will send you a receipt confirming the charge, and your gift will automatically renew each year.

A gift of securities such as stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds that have realized significant appreciation over time, is one of the most tax-efficient of all ways to give. The two key advantages:

• Any securities may be donated to Nativity and will qualify for a tax deduction for the full fair-market value of the securities.
• Since the securities are donated rather than sold, capital gains taxes from selling the securities no longer apply.

When making a gift of securities, it is important that you arrange for a direct transfer to the broker for Nativity School and not sell them yourself. Please refer to the Stock Transfer Instructions for details.

Double your Donation!

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. 65% of Fortune 500 companies have a matching gift program, but many other large and small employers do as well.

Nativity Quasi-Endowment

• We have a permanent quasi-endowment fund that is managed by Morgan Stanley and provides a predictable and steady source of yearly income to support operating expenses. Gifts to this endowment are made directly to Nativity. The established policy for gifts made through a will or trust, is that those gifts will be directed to this fund, unless the donor has specified another program. The Catholic Community Foundation

In partnership with the Catholic Community Foundation, Sacred Heart Nativity Schools are fortunate to have an endowment fund and multiple planned giving options for our generous benefactors. They can introduce you to an estate planning attorney, help you brainstorm and organize your charitable giving desires, and show our appreciation for your gift.

• Sacred Heart Nativity Schools Fund for Tuition Assistance is a permanently restricted endowment that supports tuition assistance for our students. The endowment is invested so that it will generate income for our school FOREVER. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, all gifts made to the Sacred Heart Nativity Schools Fund for Tuition Assistance will be matched up to $250,000, which will help us reach our goal of $1 million. There are still $116,000 matching dollars available!
