Donations

In a county where the median income is $96,000, our families earn $34,000 or less. This means that after rent, utilities, and food, our families have only a couple of hundred dollars left each month for clothes for work and school, gas for the car, medical bills, and other expenses. Many of the families we serve are part of the surrounding community, where more than 80% of the elementary students qualify for free or discounted lunch programs.

At a cost of $15,000 per year, we ask the families of our students to contribute $40 per month over 12 months. The remaining 97% of the operating costs for our schools comes from individual, foundation, and corporate donations. We depend on the generosity of our donors to keep our schools operating.
